New Login Procedures for Existing Users

As of January 18, 2012, the American Savings, FSB Online Banking system will get an upgrade. The new system will include enhanced security features, an all new look and feel, and new functionality. As an existing Online Banking user, we’re sure you’ll be impressed with the improvements, but the initial Login procedure may be a bit confusing for you. So we’re providing this information to help you make the transition more easily.

First-Time Login Procedure

1 The first time you login to the new Online Banking system, you will have to "Register" as if you were a New User. From the  bank’s website, click on the "Sign Up Now" link at the bottom of the Online Banking Login box. From the Online Banking Login page you must register as a "New User" by clicking on the "Setup Your Info" button.

Remember, your existing User ID and password will not work on the new system until you sign up as a New User first. Fortunately, you will only have to do this ONCE to properly "link" all of your account information.

1 Next, you will enter in the full Social Security number of the account’s primary owner and you will type in the Random Security Code exactly as it appears. This will allow us to "link up" all appropriate details of your account(s) so that your history and Bill Pay information will transfer over to the new Online Banking system.

Click the "Next" button.

1 Next, you will enter in your contact information including your name and address, your phone numbers, your date of birth and your email address.

This is also the place where you will create (or "recreate") the User ID and Password that you will use to Login at all times in the future. At this time you are welcome to "recreate" the User ID and password that you use on the "old" Online Banking system. (Of course, you may create an all new User ID and password if you choose, but you may find it easier to "recreate" the User ID and password that you already know and remember.)

Details on the required parameters of your password are provided.

Click the "Next" button to continue.

1 Here you will need to read and accept the disclosures regarding the use of Online Banking.

You will also create your personalized security questions in this step. These questions will add yet another layer of security for the protection of your personal and financial information.

Note that for your security questions, you can choose from several pre-determined questions created by the bank or you may create your own unique questions and answers.

Click the "Next" button to continue.

1 Here you will create a Security Key (a word or phrase) that you will later see at the top of every active Online Banking page, as another indicator that website you are viewing is the legitimate American Savings, FSB website and not a fraudulent replica.

Click the "Finished" button.

At this time you should see the following message indicating that your enrollment is complete but that you will await approval from American Savings to activate your Online Banking access.
